    Hello,

what are the software debugging options we have if we use the tasking compiler and the ST10F276?

are we bound to use the Rom-monitor (cross-view)?

if so can we put break points in the iFLASH and xFLASH?

if every thing else fails is there a recommended ICE to use?

    thanks,

    Uri.

    Hello Ukatry,

1/ what are the software debugging options we have if we use the tasking compiler and the ST10F276?

Please have a look to the enclosed AN provided by Tasking for details about debugging settings.

2/ Are we bound to use the Rom-monitor (cross-view)?

No, you are not bound to use the ROM monitor! You have the choice between RAM monitor(load your code in an external RAM) and ROM monitor(load your code in the flash).

3/ if so can we put break points in the iFLASH and xFLASH?

I am not sure that using Cross View to load code in the flash allows putting breakpoints. I will check this point and tell you.

4/if every thing else fails is there a recommended ICE to use?

You can use an ICE provided by Nohau. Please refer to the document available on the following link:
