I noticed today after recently changeing over from the IDEA (Cosmic IDE) to ST7 Visual Develop. I am getting an error when running the ST7 programmer:

stvp.exe - Illegal System DLL Relocation

The system DLL user32.dll was relocated in memory. The application will not run properly. The relocation occurred because the DLL C:\Windows\system32\HHCTRL.OCX occupied an address range reserved for Windows system DLLs. The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for a new DLL.

I'm not sure if this is related to HHCTRL.OCX but was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem?

    Hi,

This has been yet reported and it is related to a Microsoft update :

The problem doesn't come from STVP7 but from the windows update

    Microsoft has fixed the problem:

Thanks for the information, I was starting to panic. MS wasn't much help until you displayed the link.

    Thanks
