The ST7FMIDI-EMU3 is the name of the emulator supporting the ST72F34x familly. Those devices are officially supported from STVD7 R3.2.1 (including STVD7 and STVP7). This new release is ready for distribution and should be available soon on the WEB.
I have downloaded the latest version of the development toolset (V3.2.1) and installed it, however I am still unable to program my device. The device that I am using is a ST7FMIDI9S4T6 I am selecting the ST72F344x4 in the STVP tool but cannot read from or program the device using the STICK programmer. The error message : Error on Option Bytes (Complementary bytes). Reprogram Option Bytes of device. appears and the process is stopped. I have attached a screen print for reference. I have checked the hardware is OK by changing the device on the board for another (ST72F324L) and can read from and program it without problems using the STICK programmer and STVP tool. Can anyone offer any solutions? Cheers, BigFella.

I am using the device soldered to my application board, which is fitted with a crystal. I have selected ICP OPT Enable mode, but cannot read out from the device or reprogram the option bytes. I cannot use the ICP OPT Disable, since there is no connection from pin 9 (Osc) of the programming header to the micro on my board. I do not have a ST7MDT20J socket board and so cannot try the device on its own. Regards, BigFella.
