ST9 clock speed

    OK, got another one here, the specified range for the crystal on the ST90158 is 3 to 5 mhz. What happens if you use a slower crystal? This circuits I'm debugging uses a 2.4576 mhz crystal.

    What are the possible problems?

    Yes you can use the said frequency but their is no garantee the device will work properly e.g ADC acuracy will not be according to the datasheet etc
