    Hi,

I have some problems with ST92F150 electrical characteristics for IOs Schmitt trigger (vih, vil, hyst), especially for I2C.

For me, Hyst = Vih - Vil, but ST9 specs do not fit with this equation.

Could anyone clarify this point ?

I want to drive a 3.3V ST I2C EEPROM using ST92F150 (5V) and I need to know how to connect components . Are external pull-ups to 3.3V only required ?

    (Is ST92F150 I2C peripheral compatible with 3.3V parts ?)

    Thanks

Have alook at the phillips I2C bus spec, it gives you info about level translation at the end of the doc using fets.

I have attached if you do not have it.

    Regards

    Spen,

    Thanks for the I2C specs.

But my question is more simple :

Is ST92F150 (5V) work with 3.3V devices with only 3.3V pull-ups on SDA and SCL lines ?

    fred.
