if ST7 Stick(programming tools for ST7F MCU) can be used for manufacoty programming.

Anyone knows?

Hi Terry,

ST7 STICK can not be used in production line, since it does not have the facility to store the program, it always require a PC to communicate for programming etc.

It is not a stand alone programmer like segger.

Thanks a lot. But in fact , in china they use a lot of universal programming tools with a PC for communicate, the customer trust

the universal programming tools can be used for mass production

in hardware. without considering the not stand-alone aspect, could you tell me if stick can be used for mass production in Hardware.

Normally, Gang programmer is suitable for mass production as you can program more chips at one time. With stick programmer it is not possible. If the manufacturing speed is not the issue then you can use stick to program the chips and remember you can not automate your process. You can see Gang programmers available on the same site.
