    hi,

we r working on stpc atlas. right now we r in the designing phase. i wanted to know in the ISA mode how many devices other than BIOS flash can be connected to the ISA bus. we r planning to implement an 1MB user flash, disk on chip 2000 and super i/o controller FDC37b787 with inbuilt FDD , 2 com ports and RTC.

are the ISA bus devices mapped above the region 1MB?

    Hello,

All these devices can be connected to the ISA bus.

The ISA bus has a 16MB address space. Please have a look to the Programming manaul or the Bios writer's guide available in the web site for details about regions mapped.

    Regards.
