I am using the STPC_Atlas BSP for WInce5.0. I have integrated a 82559 based ETHDBG driver(works on all other x86 processor) replacing the NE2000. I find that in the debug mode the system hangs after about 3.5 minutes.

I also see some exceptions from the GDI module and Kernel debugger.

Is ther a bug in the Display driver in the debug mode ? Is there a fix for it or a newer version of the BSP.

    Thanks,

    Basu.

There is no bug in the display driver!

On which board did you tested the BSP?

Could you test with general software bios availble on the web site.

Did you made the test before to replace the NE2000 driver if you? what was the results?

    Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I am using Ampro CM420 board with AMpro's General bios. I could not test with NE2000 driver because the board has the 82559 chip.

I see that release mode works fine but debug mode works ok for approx 3 minutes and hangs without warning or messages. I then run CETK. In the CETK the GDI module raises exception and then system hangs.

However if I disable the Full Kernel Mode and run CETK , I get exception but target does not hang.

    Hi,

Could you please send me the log of the WinCE platform Builder Debug window in order to analyse when/How the problem exactly appears.

    Thanks.
