STR7-RVDK && IAR STR711 KickStart

    Hello,

    I’m using the STR7-RVDK with the STR7 Eval Board MB393.

    Can I use the same tools with IAR STR711 KickStart Board?

    I believe you can. Toolsets are supposed to be transparent. However I did that using the IAR tool; works perfectly on both boards (MB393 with a STR710, and KickStart with a STR711).

    All you need to do is to change some defines for the PLL base frequency (crystals are different, one is 4 MHz and the other is at 16MHz), change the supply (one is powered through the JTAG link) and you're good to go.

    Some people might want to confirm the exact procedure for your toolset... Anyone?
