Hello everyone. I am using a STR710-Eval board, and am trying to run the UART interrupt sample code that comes with RIDE.

My problem is that I obtain different characters in hyperterminal from what I transmit. I have not modified any of the settings in the default code (Baud rate 9600, 8 bit data with no parity, 1 stop bit). I have also set hyperterminal up to match the above configuration.

I hope someone here has an idea of what is going on, as I've spent most of today trying to figure out how to get the correct characters appearing. Thanks in advance.

    Hi Mehanathan,

Are you speaking about the ST lib example which comes with RIDE?(.\RIDE\EXAMPLES\STRX\STR71XLIB\UART\INTERRUPT)

I've tested it and nothing is wrong ! i've got the message on the terminal.

Could check if the jumpers on Reva board are set (Rx and Tx jumpers)?

Please also check that in the hyperterminal configuration the flow control = None.
