I need to use the EMI in 8 bit non mux mode, and would like to stick with the LQFP128 package. My problem is that the device I want to put on the EMI bus needs a bus clock to syncrhornize access to it.

For various reasons I want to stick with the 25MHz crystal as the clock source, so I need to generate a clock that is in sync with the PLL output.

I plan to run the chip at 96MHz and the EMI at clock/2 = 48MHz.

Anybody have a trick for getting a 48MHZ clock out of the device ?

If the only option is to use the BGA version of the STR912 do the EMI_BCLK and EMI_WAIT signals still work in 8 bit non mux mode ?
