    Hi,

Installation of STVD7 3.2 crash when the STM Parallel Driver 1.2 is to be installed. Refering to release note this is a known limitation when installing on XP SP2. But the release note says that the driver should be installed in spite of the crash and that the installation should be complete when relaunched. But on my computer this dont work. The crash happens every

    time...

When I try to run the installed software the following message is shown:

''An anomaly (1) has been detected during installation. This software may not work properly. Attempt to reinstall. If this message persists generate a support file (Help->Generate Support File...) asn contact support.''

Is this due to the installation problem or is it another problem?

    Best regards

    bood

I have solved the problem. I manually removed parstm.sys from c:\windows\system32\drivers and then reinstalled STVD7. Now the installation completes without crash and the error message at start-up has dissapeared.
