How do I configure the UART of 6230 to transmit data without having to use an external inverter?? I have tried complementing the byte before sending it out , but that didnt work. How can I resolve the issue???

    Hi,

You cant - you need the inverter.

It will make no difference inverting the byte, as there are other parts of the RS232 signal before and after the data - the start, parity and stop bits.

if these bits are not the correct polarity, your data is useless.

I used an external inverter and it works now.

    Thanks,
