Hello ST community,

I am trying to find the part number of the chip in the attached picture with the code gk16w 85003f3p6 chn30ere7 (or similar), which unfortunately broke during a thunderstorm near our house. It's from a Nespresso XN110 coffee machine.

Does anyone have any idea, what part number this chip has or what type of component it is?

I don't expect the content (firmware) to be recoverable, but you might be able to cannibalize a working part from another board for said coffee machine.

A blank part from Mouser won't help you directly, you'd need a firmware image to apply to the part for it to work in this context.

That chip with the code GK16W 85003F3P6 CHN30ERE7 appears to be a custom or house-marked IC, likely specific to certain appliances like the Nespresso XN110. Unfortunately, many appliance manufacturers use proprietary components or rebranded versions of standard parts, which makes direct identification challenging. It could be a power management IC or microcontroller, especially since it failed during a thunderstorm — a common time for surge-related damage.

You might try contacting Nespresso or checking repair forums for coffee machines; someone may have encountered the same issue.

    It's an 8S not an 85

It's also a Micro Controller with software the customer installs on it. Making it application specific.
