does this mean we can only request the cdc demo for idealist. I was just inquiring in my previous post if the DFU example was available, and haven't received a response.

The demo will read data from hyperterminal and echo's it back, you will need to modify the code to suit your applcation.

Have a look in CDC_OUT_callback (USB_endp.c).
