User Interface area problem !!!

    I'm having the same problem, when i'm trying to read anything from User Interface registers, it returns me back only a 0 value. I can read any other area of the microcontroller, but when it came to write(read) something in the User Interface area everything fails. I don't now what's wrong in what i'm doing. Should I continue with the initialization sequence even if i'm not sure that i can program those registers. Please give me a solution(because it seems that reading the VS6724 datasheet is not enaugh to complete my job).
