Using STHV1600/STHV800 Pulser ICs for underwater ultrasound applications
Hi
I was looking into STHV1600/STHV800 Pulser ICs in 3 level mode. As i have understood, they are primarily used in medical applications where it is desired high voltage, short pulses with high frequency range (in MHz range) with short measurement range. But my field of interest is underwater ultrasound phased array transducers where we are working in below 1MHz frequency range, high voltage, maximum pulse lengths around 30ms and pulse repetition rate is much lower(around 10Hz) as compared to medical applications where i believe repetition rate is in Khz. So wondering if these are the rights ICs for my application where we need around 100-200m range in water?
