Hello,

We are trying to implement a debug system of the code for upsd323x . In that we have mapped boot flash as code &

primary flash as data in a combined space mode.

How should set the initial value of the VM register using the PSDsoft express? I don't find the option in the PSD menu configuration.

Hi,

The initial VM setting is derived from the Define MCU/DSP and PSD section

Step 3 - Select PSD configuration

The lower two pulldown options select where the Main and Secondary flash should be , DATA, PROGRAM or BOTH

To select memory addressing, this follows the pin definition page.

Once the pin definitions are defined, click Next>>

This will take you through page definition and addressing (Chip Select Equations)
