In DVP3 i can setting only CPU frequency. Where are the option byte for setting PLLx4 or PLLx8 and other setting?

    thanks

    Hello,

First off all, can you please tell me :

    - which target (mcu name : st7-Lite09, .....) do you want to emulate ?

    - which TEB (Target Emulation Board : the smaller board on the top of the

    dvp3 hardware set) do you use ? : ''st7 mdt20 dvp3 teb'' ? ''st7 mdt10 dvp3

    teb'' ? ......

At a first look, sometimes this option (pll on/off) is available or un-available , according to the target. This choice is sometimes very closely linked to the hardware architecture and sometimes it is due to avoid some emulator over frequency limitation problems...

    Let me know

    Regards

It is not possible on MDT10 DVP3 (and MDT10-EMU3) emulator to emulate PLL option bits because the targeted MCU is emulated by an EPLD for the digital parts and discrete components for analogue parts.

With the DVP3 you set directly FOsc which is then divided by 2 in order to obtain FCPU.

Thus if you want to have FCPU=8MHz, it is normal to set FOsc at 16MHz.

    -regards
