Posted on February 24, 2017 at 20:50I'm looking at the STPTIC-82G2 ( barium strontium titanate (BST). The min operating frequency is >700MHz. Wonder if there's any similar part like the STPTIC-xxG2 with higher capacitance value and higher Q, Tuning ratio >7 for frequency of 100Mhz and above? Is there a manufacture where we can customize it?

Posted on November 27, 2016 at 04:27Hello,I am using the STEVAL-IME009V1, and I would like to modify the factory settings ''STSW-IME009_May_2014.dfu'' file to output the demo waveforms at 60kHz instead of 5MHz. Using the Dfu file manager, I extracted the DFU file to a hex file, but I cannot find where the frequency for the programmable waveforms is specified. However, I noticed that the suggested components value are not the same as the ones on http://www.st.com/content/ccc/resource/technical/document/application_note/e6/81/42/cf/74/28/4f/78/DM00127577.pdf/files/DM00127577.pdf/jcr:content/translations/en.DM00127577.pdf. What is the reason for the differences (especially at the compensation)?Thanks in advance for your support.

I'm trying to use your eDesignSuite, but it doesn't work (Msg: eDesignSuite requires the latest version of Adobe Flash Player. Click here to verify your current installation), but I've installed Flash and it works properly (I've checked on Chrome, Edge and Firefox). Moreover, eDesignSuite works well with other IC for example (Led Lighting projects), problem is with SPV1040. I think there is something wrong with this example/simulation. Are you able to help me? ....or maybe there is some standalone (native) software to install on my pc and simulate this circuit? Best regards,Kaza#edesignsuite #spv1040

Posted on November 14, 2016 at 19:03Hi There,After using the eDesignSuite to design a 25V (CV / HPF / PSR) using the HVLED001, we found some discrepancies between the eDesignSuite proposed circuit and the HVLED001 typical HPF / PSR / CV circuit on page 16 of the datasheet. Especifically on:- components connected to pin ZCD- the place where RtOff connects (between Cs, RS on eDesignSuite and pin FB on datasheet)- zener on clamper (datasheet) -> no zener on eDesignSuiteWhich one is right?We really need help on this since we must do the PCB prototypes ASAP.Best Regards, #hvled001 #edesignsuite #datasheet

Posted on November 16, 2016 at 11:30Hi There,It would be great to be able to choose HVLED815PF on eDesignSuite, when selecting:Power Conversion -> Power Supply -> AC/DC -> Isolated -> QR Flyback (with HPF), instead of only as LED Driver. The purpose is to use it in designs with less than 11W (actual Pout in general/home lighting produtcs) with CV, PSR, Wide Mains and HPF, instead of using the HVLED0001/A models that despite working, were made for much higher power supplies (75W). The HVLED815PF shows this kind of use (CV) on the application note:''AN4350: High power factor LED driver with constant voltage regulation based on HVLED815PF'' (that has some errors on formulas still to solve - we already submitted a request for the correction or an errata) but unfortunately the eDesignSuite doesn't seem to let us use it on the same way.Best Regards,Pedro Pereira #supply #mc34063 #psr-cv #psr-cv #power #hvled815pf #hvled815pf

Posted on November 15, 2016 at 13:05Hi, Is there anyway to know the currently consumed FC credeits versus the available cerdits in the Spear PCIE controller [RC mode]. We are seeing an issue where the system gets external data abort after running for sometime..an the there is no recovery from this....only way is to hard reboot the system. Does below information reveal something going wrong in the system. When I dump the registers I see that We do see: AER register showing the completion timeout. Queue Status Register -> Received Queue Not Empty is set bit 2 Control Register: Master Response Composer Look-up Error is set bit -21 Function: Indicates that an overflow that occurred in a look-up table of the outbound responses. This indicates that there was a violation for the number of outstanding Non-Posted requests issued for the inbound direction. Also in the data sheet I do not see registers that allow us to set credits. Any help is appreciated here. I am attaching the regist
