Posted on November 13, 2016 at 23:02does anyone can share bootstrap loader and monitor to proceed st10f273m CAN bootstrap? i can successfully enter to BSL over CAN, sending frame 0 with DLC 0 and after 128 frames with id 5 and first byte of my code. It works i can execute my code but the problem is that i cant send anything from st10. Documentation says that BSL routines preparing MO 2 to be TX object with id E6 and DLC 3 and should be send for rquest by sending remote frame...BUT IST NOT!!!!!!

Posted on November 07, 2016 at 14:07When designing as PowerConversion -> Power Supply -> AC/DC -> Isolated -> QRFlyback (so that we can control Vout ripple) - we see on EDesign Suite avalue (on the left) for the Actual VOut. The Actual Voutis a measure before or after the output rectifying diode?. Because whenwe select different diodes (on Design Refinements) the Actual Vout valuedoesn't change, so we suspect it's before the diode (between thetransformer secondary winding and the diode) and not after the outputdiode. Perhaps someone can clarify that for us. Thanks in advance. #actual #vout #edesignsuite

Posted on October 20, 2016 at 21:39Hi to all,I take weeks trying to find a solution for miniaturization of an AC / DC Converter.Today I thought I had found the solution with the Viper26 and superb eDesignSuite tool but when I analyzed the attached resulting circuit, I just do not understand the meaning of the two different grounds, represented by a triangle (circuit ground, I guess) and the other represented by three horizontal stripes (earth plug, perhaps?).In the abundant documentation ST, I haven't found anything nor description, nor examples with these two types of grounds, besides, I find it shocking that the GND/Source output is connected directly to the circuit ground and through D to the another ground (earth plug?).I appreciate your help. Thank you for your time and attention.

Posted on October 24, 2016 at 19:56HiI tried to program an ST62T25C6 SO28, after loading the HEX-File in to the microcontroller with the programer (ST622X Starter kit board, release 5.00), Iput the microcontroller on to my application board and it doesn`t work. Not even the oscillator of the microcontroller works and all I/O pins are at high level.I use an adapter (dual in line 28 package to single outline 28 package) to connect the microcontrolller to the starter kit board.I can make a readout of the microcontroller content and the checksum matches to the HEX-File checksum, the options I have set, are also correct.If I program an ST62E25C DIP28 with the same HEX-File it works perfectly on my application board.The program was written in assembler language and compiled with ST6 MACRO-ASSEMBLER VERSION 4.50.I use WINDOWS EPROMER, Product ID 4.0.3,Hardware configuration ST6-004 to program the microcontrollers.I have no idea whats wrong or if I have done a mistake.I use WINDOWS 10 as OS a

It is very confusing because even the PCB view (Fig 15) doesn't show a package outline. I would appreciate if somebody can help me ASAP. I am in middle of a PCB layout.Thank you! #bal-cc1101-01d3

Posted on September 30, 2016 at 12:05I have an issue with a STHVDAC-253M which provides 0 to 25V dc to tune a cap for use with an antenna.Currently I can only get a steady 0v or 25V out of the  device, the DAC has a 7 bit register and anything above 0 gives max output(25v)Checked the data being sent and everything looks correct, and have also read back correctly the register and the manufacturers ID.Any ideas? #smart-antenna-tuning

Posted on August 31, 2016 at 22:43I have created a new post because I cannot reply on the first one due to functionality of your website.The problem again :I have usedViper06X (30KHz) as a buck to get 9V output, with no load I have the right output voltage. Posted on July 02, 2016 at 12:44Hi, I have used eDesign to implement viper on my application. My specs are input voltage 70Vdc to 160Vdc / output 15Vdc (5.1W). For some reason, the viper 26LD is loosing regulation (when connecting to a load) - the output voltage decreases as the load increases. Furthermore, I heard buzz coming out of it. After replacing the component a few times, the buzz stopped but I still didn't get the right output voltage.You may find attached the schematics!Thanks in advance for your support.  #retification #viper-26ld

I realise it's evaluation only, but I was wondering if you could give me an indication of whether I could get it to work as an ordinary 868 MHz transceiver (pluggged into USB of Raspberry pi) I'm not sure what a spirit network is, but I just need something really basic to send and receive some simple short range signals. I have no problem with software if that helps. many thanks for any help Dave

But missed that IC loses 0.8w power at 3A and getting very hot quickly, then stepdown output current to ~2A. Is there any way to fix it without total redesign(with different IC) or big additional heatsink on IC?

They said that datasheet is correct. Please refer to TECH022521. Posted on July 06, 2016 at 01:53I have been looking for the best buck converter for my project that is to use as constant current source for 1.6Watt laser diode. While surfing the STmicroelectronics website I got many options for the same. In which I happened to choose the above mentioned IC. While using the software from the website for the design, for my surprise the software gave me the schematic diagram for my required inputs. But the problem was, I have not seen any free wheel diode in the schematic. I dont know any buck converter exists without any free wheel diode along with the inductor. My inputs are 7.4v~8.4v and the diode forward voltage is 4.7v. and the constant current required is 1.8A. Please clarify my doubt. Thanking you sir, #st1cc40dr

But when I connect any load (even it is light) the output voltage drops .As the load resistance decreases the output voltage decreases !!The same occurs with Viper06X (30KHz) , the output should be 5V , and it is 5V without load , but when connecting a load the output voltage decreases. One Led with a 200 ohm resistor drops the output voltage to 2.8V !!I have tried to increase the output capacitance but no change occurs . #viper06
