Hi, We have made a custom development board integrated with M24M01E-FMN6TP EEPROM IC. It is operating at 1.8. Having queries like whether the supply voltage plays a role in accessing total pages of EEPROM and if so please tell us the minimum voltage required to access all 512 pages. Hi, I am trying to use STUSB4500QTR in a new board. In my design, the STUSB4500QTR is supplied from a USB-C power adaptor. The application intended for use of 20V supply. When connecting the adapter to USB-C port for first time, there is 20V on output of power delivery circuit. After repeated disconnection and connection of power adaptor from USB-C (from 2 to 7 cycles). The STUSB4500QTR stops working. Measuring the circuit, after that, I found that there is not voltage on VREG_2V7 pin (pin #23) and resistance of it to ground is very low (1.6 Ohm). This happens even if there is no load connected to power delivery circuit output. This issue happened on at least 3 STUSB4500QTR components. Please advise: what could be causes of this? how to solve this issue?

Hi Team,i am using STEVAL-MKBOXPRO and want to modify STSW-MKBOX-BLEDK BLE_SensorDemo code to increase the RF output power to its maximum 8dBm.I found that this can be done modifying the file Users > sensor.c file in STSW-MKBOX-BLEDK\Projects\BLE_Examples\BLE_SensorDemo with line aci_hal_set_tx_power_level(1, 31).However, code for example STSW-MKBOX-BLEDK\Projects\BLE_Examples\BLE_SensorDemo is provided only for EWARM and MDK-ARM software tools which are not free tools and that necessitate licenses.I obtained a 14-day Free trial of IAR Embedded Workbench for Arm license, but the date is dead now ... and no more response from IAR.So, my question is: does this code (BLE_SensorDemo) exists for STM Software tools like WiSE Studio or CubeIDE ? Or, how to migrate it ?I mention that the modification of this code corresponds to the Expert Mode of STEVAL-MKBOXPRO ... which should be accessible without any additional cost.I also precise that i am teacher at University, that this project is fo

Hello,I am working with STEVAL-SPIN3202 to develop motor control solution. I am using the Motor Control Workbench 6.2.1. I could generate the project using the workbench, however when i Connect the evaluation board, window with FAIL.txt opens which reads "The interface firmware FAILED to reset/halt the target MCU".Thus I am not able to connect to the board. I have tried connecting to the board using ST-Link Utility, however it gives the error message "Can not connect to target".I have tried some of the solution mentioned on the forum but the issue still persist.Please guide me so that i can get my motor running.

Hope your team is well and everything is fine!I'm currently using two stpm34 chips on a custom board connected in cascade to perform voltage and current measurements.Right now I'm performing measurements at a specific time through a timer interruption, however I have read on the documentation (UM3155 - page 3) the following statement:"The STPM3x devices sample voltage and current data at 7.8125 kHz. At this rate, as soon as a new ADC data is available, a pulse is output on the CLKOUT pin of the device.To synchronize the samples reading with the ADC sampling rate, the firmware uses the pin PA1 of the MCUconnected to the CLKOUT pin to trigger an interrupt."I haven't found anything like this on the datasheet so I have some doubts about this feature.My questions are the following:1) Is it true that I can use the CLKOUT pin of the STPM34 as a way to know exactly when the data is available? Hi everybody,I made a circuit for the STPM34, but I keep destroying my components :)The first image is what my circuit looks like, I followed the datsheet closely, yet there seems to be a mistake somewhere.I've noticed it goes wrong at my current measuring circuit, namely the 1k resistors burn and the STPM34 explodes.Between the shunt and the pins IIP1 and IIN1 I measure 1kOhm, as it should be. I made a quick test setup with a 1V DC supply, and noticed the voltage drop over the 1kOhm resistor is way too high (200mV). The setup of this test circuit is shown in the notes.The orientation of the IC is correct, so I'm connected to the right pins.Any ideas what may be the cause for this high voltage drop?

I am currently writing a driver for the STUSB4500L which has the ALERT pin (active low) connected to the MCU. An interrupt is triggered on a falling edge, and I then read the ALERT_STATUS_1 register. But somehow, the interrupt is not cleared. I then masked alles interrupts but the PORT_STATUS_AL bit in the ALERT_STATUS_1_MASK register. When reading the port status registers PORT_STATUS_0 and PORT_STATUS_1 the interrupt seems to be cleared (success!).I then unmasked the TYPEC_MONITORING_STATUS_AL interrupt flag, but reading both TYPEC_MONITORING_STATUS_0 and TYPEC_MONITORING_STATUS_1 registers didn't clear the interrupt flag (no success).So, how can I clear the interrupts? Currently, I am reading the above mentioned registers with individual reads, might that be a problem?

1.I previously developed a product that, due to a program bug, continuously wrote to a fixed address in the EEPROM  IC (M24C64-F) every 25ms while in standby mode. After about 1 to 2 years of the product being sold, we got feedback from those issue that certain control parameters in the EEPROM IC (not the aforementioned fixed address) were being altered. We conducted tests on the affected products from the issue (e.g., power interruptions, noise interference, normal power ON/OFF, etc.), but we were unable to reproduce the issue. Could somebody tell under what conditions the control parameters in the EEPROM IC could be altered?2.Is the process of writing to EEPROM the most frangible time for an EEPROM IC? if so, power interruption, electrical noise or other interference occurs at this time, will it cause other address data to be modified?

Dear ST Team:We have E2PROM M24C64-WMN6P in our project, we checked from datasheet Page 20 & Page 25,there is a confusion need your help.ThanksOn Page 20, Table 12 shows Cbus load for I2C is 100pF max and 50ns max rise time,While on Page 25,Table 19 showes we should follow I2C specification which mean Cbus up to 400pF, and rise time up to 300ns @400KHzSo which one should to follow? Hi everybody, I'm new to this forum and have a problem involving an ST62T65CB6 microcontroller. I have been programming PIC chips for a long time and am familiar with the process of reading and writing to memory. My problem is that I have a board with this chip attached, running a CH boiler. The board has developed a fault and I need to understand the programme and be able to read/write and ideally, disassemble the code. Can a member please point me towards an interface (programmer). I have some board development and soldering skills so could manage to build a relatively simple programmer if I could find a schematic but would prefer to source one already built.

 I write four bytes of data to M95512, and after the writing is completed, I read these four bytes. I must delay the writing for more than 3 milliseconds to read the correct bytes. Delays less than 3 milliseconds will read 0XFF. Why is this?What does “Byte Write within 5 ms” mean？Does it take 5ms to write a byte? Looking forward to any suggestions and responses. 

Hello,I have recently purchased an BMW F650GS motorcycle. Now there has been a rather amateurish fix to the fuel pump.Where it is now connected parralel over the rear light.The ECU feeds the pump via an VN31 30F922 (transistor?)Im trying to diagnose of the component has failed  and can be replaced (with an alternative) or that the fault is from a different source in the ecu. However i can't seem to find a datasheet.Is there any way to find a datasheet so i can know what to expect on the 5 pins? Gr Evert
