I configured lwip in cube for stm32f107, when I generate code for keil and run it the micro hangs, but if I write a program without cube, it runs without any problem.What is the problem?Note: If I get the output for CubeIDE, it runs without any problem.

I am using the example project from the xcube eeprom v3.0.0 as a reference to add EEPROM emulation to my project using the STM32G431RB. The example project works fine, but my project uses FREERTOS so I have changed my timebase source to a timer. This seems to make the initialization function EE_Init(EE_FORCED_ERASE) fail, returning "EE_ERASE_ERROR".Through debugging, I found that the "EE_Init" fails in the "HAL_FLASHEx_Erase" function when "FLASH_WaitForLastOperation" returns an error. In debug, I noticed that the error results from the FLASH.SR register having the PGSERR set. I added the FLASH.SR to my debug expressions and found that the bit is set before I even call "EE_Init". It turns out the PGSERR bit gets set in "HAL_InitTick" when calling "HAL_NVIC_EnableIRQ(TIM1_TRG_COM_TIM17_IRQn)". Of course, this only happens if I use TIM17 as my timebase instead of systick (I tried other timers as well and they all produce the same behavior). It seems that maybe some NVIC register is

First of all: I'm quite recently involved in the STM32 ecosystem. Due to good experiences with commandline tools for TI Cortex-M families, I'm seeking for comparable solutions to flash a device.A few weeks ago I found dfu_commandline_pack. But that's quite outdated and lacks compatibility with recent intel hex format files. I ended up by using resources of the CubeProgrammer package. Its STM32_Programmer_CLI is a really powerful and versatile tool. So I started to strip all that is not needed in plain commandline usage.But... on a KDE system (including Qt-libraries) I still need  files left in the lib folder summing up to a few MB (while the unstripped lib folder contains approx. 65 MB. Then I tried to use it on a non KDE-System, and now way more library files must be included. Otherwise STM32_Programmer_CLI quits after start. I end up with 50 MB (where libicudate.so eats up 24 MB).It's my goal to supply customers with a compact (mailable) tool for flashing over USB.It seems

I have been working with STM32F051K4U7 for the past few years and found GPIO window in "System Viewer" very useful as it allowed to toggle some pins manually while the code was running.However, I just built a new project using STM32G051K8U6 microcontroller and all of a sudden no GPIO interface is available anymore?I read some existing threads concerning Cortex-M3 based microcontrollers and the answer was that "some peripherals which are specific to certain vendors are not available in System Viewer".Why is that the case and is there definitely no way to add GPIO access say if I was to use custom file and edit STM32G051.svd by adding the missing peripherals?This feels like a step back coming from STM32F0 series microcontrollers.

Just started playing with FreeRTOS on a NUCLEO-H563ZI board using CMCIS OSv2. Why does osThreadGetState() translate eSuspended to osThreadBlocked? I suspended a thread and then checked its state with osThreadGetState() which reports the state as blocked, not suspended.Does it matter?

Hello everyone, i'm actually trying to read data from an accelerometer (external) with the stm32f4 discovery board.So far, I was able to do it trough an IDE and let the data be shown on a display. Now I would like to do it with simulink. Is there a Simulink model I2C-Based Sensor for STM32F4 Discovery Board? I went trough the modelling block for stm32f4 discovery and I could find anything. Hello,I am trying to monitor a simple model build in MATLAB Simulink and running on my Nucleo STM32G4321RB board.Building and deploying the model on the controller is possible, the code is running properly. But when I try to use the external mode function in Simulink, to monitor the running code, there is an error:"XCP internal error: timeout expired, in response to XCP CONNECT command". The model itself is very simple. Read digital input from User-Button and output state to User-LED.According to the user manual UM2505 from ST, on the G431RB-board the LPUART1 is connected to STLINK-V3E Virtual COM Port by default.So I have setup the LPUART1 in CubeMX in asynchronous mode at 115200 Bits/s.And also configured the Simulink model for LPUART1 and COM3 (as given by Windows device manager) But it just won't work. And I could not find any helpful answers on google for this problem.I also tried UART1 and UART3 in desperation, but that's not working either, of course.Does anyone have a

Have STM32G030K6T6 system that in bootloader mode fails to respond to I2C.Am asserting BOOT0 pin 25, negating NRST pin 6, wait 500ms, asserting NRST pin 6, wait three seconds, then attempt to send MCU erase packet to I2C1 device address 0x56 but get NACKDSLogic Analyzer shows good I2C write to 0x56 but NACK in response, see attached screenshot.Was originally writing to 0x57, which was correct for earlier implementation for STM32H7B3I, but TDK noted that the correct address for STM32G030K6T6 is 0x56, and that succeeded, i.e., erasing flash and writing flash, exactly once.Second and all subsequent times attempted, 0x56 is NACK-ed.Could original "success" have corrupted MCU bootloader code?

Hi guys,I'm novice in STM32, I'm working with IARIDE 850 I provided a flash memory area where I inserted two object modules which I expected should remain unchanged when I make changes to the other modules. Instead, I realized that the modules contain calls to functions that I didn't expect and that are external to the modules themselves. Is there a compiler option that excludes these functions? Or at most maybe putting them oinline? the functions have the suffix __aeabi and inside the code i have these calls i would like to avoid ​__aeabi​_dmul __aeabi​_dadd __aeabi​_dsub.screenshot with disassebled code.   

Hello,I have been learning using a NUCLEO-F401RE and am now looking to start using a board that I designed that has an STM32F4 chip as well as some other things (e.g., some memory, micro usb) on it.On the (ubuntu) VM, I have installed usbutils, openocd, and stlink-tools. I am working on BlueNRG-LPS now, I get into some trouble about it. It just randomly restart when I assign the WakeupSourceConfig_TypeDef.IO_Mask_High_polarity to any GPIO, and then tigger it after a certain times.

I just purchased a brand new STM32H747I-DISCO board. I installed all the suggested software. I followed the step-by-step guide from ST Microelectronics. I downloaded the STM32Cube MCU Firmware Package for STM32H7 series. I picked STM32H7 series instead of the suggested STM32L4 because my discovery board contains STM32H7x MCU.I tried to open the blinking LED (with interrupts) example from C:\Users\[user_name]\STM32Cube\Repository\STM32Cube_FW_H7_V1.9.0\Projects\STM32H747I-DISCO\Examples\GPIO\GPIO_EXTI folder as it is suggested.The TrueSTUDIO -during importing the example – showed an error message about the imported project is not compatible with the STM32H747I-DISCO board and I must select another board or an another MCUMCU. Hi all,I've got an STM32 evaluation board (STM32H745-DISCO). As soon as I connect the board using the ST-Link connector the Windows PC also detects a mass storage device.I haven't used this feature before but it seems that "drag-and-drop programming" is possible. But I haven't really found details about this mechanism. while I upload a code through KEIL MDK software into STM32F401RE board, it has some error occurs like -missing compiler version 5 in stm32 Keil uvision 5, also when clicking to the flash download - pop up window occurs and say error to download into flash.please provide me the proper procedure.

I'm migrating from Keil uVision to VS Code, where I provide my own set-up of build flags for ARMCC toolchain. The version of tools I'm using for building my application are the following:I'm trying to use certain linker options that would allow me to use GCC-based linker file .ld. Otherwise by default a .sct or .**** file is used to define application memory layout.For example, both Keil and my VS Code setup use this version of ARM toolchain. However, Keil is allowed to use linker options like "--scatter", "--list", "--info". Whereas when using ARMCC and ARMLINK from VS Code, I get error:Fatal error: C3900U: Unrecognized option '--scatter sct_file_name.stc'And for a reference, I'm using this documentation from ARM to identify and properly use compiler/assembler/linker options. So my question would be, why I cannot use these options although ARMLINK documentation (of the ARMLINK version I use) provides syntax for them? 

There's some problems with the .ld files for SW4STM32 for various processors in the LWiP demo projects in the CubeMX HAL distribution files.For instance F7 version 1.16.0 746 and 767 nucleo boards, the RAM section overlaps the ethernet DMA rx and tx descriptor, and rx data array sections (Memory_B[123]).The 767 file has a stack area declared to be 0x1000 (4096) bytes, but the tx data array extends into that area (Memory_B4).This would have some very subtle failures since these sections are handled by DMA. It's not like you can check to see what code is screwing up your variables, because there is no codeAndrei (from The Great White North)

Hi.I'm using PlatformIO with stm32duino with a NUCLEO-L476RG. I finally figured out how to configure the clocks in CubeMX and then copy the "void SystemClock_Config(void)" function into my main.cpp code and it seems to work great.One question I have is, should I also copy other parts of code generated by CubeMX for i2c or spi?Thanks
