Hello Community,I'm trying to interface STM32 P-NUCLEO-WB55 with ADS1293 via SPI communication protocol, But there is a issue I'm unable to read data, to verify the SPI I tried to print "Reg10 = %d\r\n" but it is returning zero as value. I'm attaching the connections diagram and ioc diagram and code file, Can anyone please help me with where I'm getting wrong..Thank you

I am trying to troubleshoot and reverse engineer a project no longer in production and for which the developer is no longer reachable.  The project is based on the ST MB997C and uses an attached daughter board that serves as an R232 communications interface to external I/O (whatever other functions it may perform are unclear).  Are there PCB suppliers that manufacture MB997C compatible PCBs to provided specifications?  The subject PCB in this project is silkscreened with the project name "ProBox V1R1", so it is not a generic OTS part.  Also, are there resources out there that can reverse engineer the functions of this PCB?  Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. 

I'm faced with connecting a (piano) keyboard to an MCU using a number of columns and a number of rows.The principle is shown in the attached photo.  I've read approaches where the coulmns are pulled to low while the rows are inputs that are sensed.Am I right that with the given arrangement it would be appropriate to set the columns to "HIGH" and sense the rows whether they are "HIGH"?  Excuses, forgot to say which MCU: it's an STM32F103C8T6 here.The diodes are common  practice to avoid so called "ghost hits" when multiple contacts are actuated.

Hi everyone,I’m working on a battery monitoring prototype using an STM32F303. I’m measuring multiple analog voltages using the internal ADC with DMA. The ADC readings fluctuate by ±20 counts whenever the PWM output for the buck converter is enabled.I already added averaging in firmware, but the noise is still visible. The analog input traces are routed near the switching MOSFET area on the PCB.My questions:Is this more likely caused by ADC sampling timing or switching noise coupling?Would increasing ADC sample time help in this case?On the PCB side, should I separate analog and power ground planes or just improve return current paths?

Hi everyone, I am trying to read pulses of a rotary incremental encoder npn  on the screen connected to a Jetson sbc, through SPI connection with a STM32 NUCLEO-G474RE. On CubeMx i already modified pins, generated code and flashed on stm32. Once i run the python code on Jetson, no pulses are seen on the monitor.  Do you have any suggestion? Thank you in advance. This is probably an old hat to most of you here but I'm facing this problem momentarily:Using an STM32F103CBT6 (Blue Pill) where GPIOB Port is used already with the following PB3 - SPI1_SCKPB5 - SP1_MOSIPB6 - Some Interface Function (OUTPUT)PB7 - Some Interface Function (OUTPUT)   I want to use PB0, PB1, PB4, PB8, PB12,PB13,PB14,PB15 for a keyboard matrix scan and outputa running pattern to these pins. Writing the bits should be nondestructive what the remaining bits is concerned. At the back of my mind I recall something like BSRR, but could someone help me to get on the right track?I'm using HAL in this app (under STM32CubeIDE).

Hi I am trying to use the AEK-POW-BMSWTX to read cell voltages from an Optipower OPR50006S50 Lithium Ion battery.  I only want the cell information, not interested in battery management itself.  I'm using SPI2 from an STM32G474RE. I have spliced pin C0 to the GND EXT pins and the GND terminal of the battery, then used C1 through C6 for cell wires. C6 is spliced to C7 through to C14, finally the positive terminal of the battery is connected to VBAT. The issue I am finding despite no MISO comms from the board is LED D2 goes off after 60 or so seconds. hello ST Community, I'm trying to send commands as indicated in the AN3155 manual via UART with Teraterm on the NUCLEO-H755ZI-Q for CM7. system bootloader application note (AN3155)  First, I tried establishing UART communication with the STM32CubeProgrammer, and it worked while Boot0 = 1 on the USART3 pins. But I'd like to establish the same communication via UART using Teraterm serial. As soon as I set the bootloader state to Boot0 = 1, I send the command 0x7F, and I get no response on the terminal. Hello.I am trying to implement RFID using NXP's NT3H2211W0FT1. Hi, I'm relatively new to STM32 series and so far have experience with STM32F103 only. My current goal is to learn and work on master-slave system, with master being an embedded linux (IMX6ULL), and the slaves are (supposingly) STM32 boards. Cameras modules and some sensors will be connected to STM32 boards. The STM32 will proess the camera stream and sensor readings locally, and send the processed/estimated results to the IMX6ULL. Some prior serach and local technical support recommend me STM32F104 series, which some sources suggest its image processing capacities are limited. I'm a bit lost in the sea of choosing appropraite hardware setup, and would like to hear some further comments on hardware choice. By far my conditions on board choice are the following: (1) Has DCMI camera interface (2) Hardware has sufficiently capacity to process VGA image stream around 5-10 fps. Hello, I am experiencing an I²C communication issue between my MPU6050 sensor and an STM32F429I-DISC1 board. The sensor is properly powered at 3.3 V, and I have already verified its operation with an ESP32 board (communication is successful). However, with the STM32, no communication is established. Actions performed: Configured I²C1 on the STM32 (tested in fast mode at 400 kHz and standard mode at 100 kHz) Verified the MPU6050 address (default 0x68, AD0 pin connected to GND) External pull-ups: tested with and without 4.7 kΩ resistors on SCL and SDA Checked physical connections (SCL to PB6, SDA to PB7 for I²C1 on the board) Configured the LCD screen Observed behavior: The I²C scan does not detect any address Blocking point: The same sensor, using the same basic I²C code, works perfectly on the ESP32. Hello - I have a product I am commercially developing for a company - an industrial sensor system - STYM32G474 x 8 - using them for their very fast ADC - all good so far. I am using a SPI bus to get all the data back to as Linux SBC (pi CM5 for now - might change next year - needs 2 cameras and NVME).I would like to update all the STM32G474 over UART (for now) then over to SPI for production - using the raspberry pi cm5.Is there an open source C++ / python program that can do this from ST? - something like the old "https://github.com/stm32duino/stm32flash" but supports the newer chips? perhaps OpenOCD would work but that is even more connectors etc.

I am working on a project in which the sensor data that will calculated by stm32 will be sent via using the esp32 as a wifi module to aws , now the problem is i have inserted the stm32 and esp32 inside a pcb with the required circuit connection but i am having difficulty flashing the code to esp32 or connecting to esp32 , i have tried various methods but cant seem to find a solution. thing is the code cannot be flashed directly to esp32 , it has to be sent via stm32 due to circuit connections and no availability of usb connection ?current status right now:- i am using the process of semihosting to flash the code into stm32 and get results on the serial monitor since i dont have a usb connection for stm32 , i am using the st link of nucleo externally , if someone can help me regarding conversion of my stm32l476 to a bridge to flash code on esp32  or to convert esp32 to wifi module ,it would be very helpful ,this is the last step after this only calibration is required to

Hello People, I’m trying to make tracing on a Board containing either a STM32H743 or a STM32H747 work and it drives me crazy. I need to debug a custom build board from our company, where I have a uVision Project for it and a circuit board, but no Cube-Project. It is important to debug UI with timestamps, so that we can measure how long the UI takes. First of all, I tried to debug it with Ozone. I downloaded the tracing example for the STM32H743 Eval Board and tried tracing on the Eval Board, which worked. So I planned to do tracing on our own hardware on a very minimalistic Project to check to make it work. I than generated a very minimalistic Cube-Project to count a value and to trace it and generated a uVison-Project from it. I somehow made it work to trace it in Ozone, as far as I remember correctly I used the pex-File for it.
