In mat/target uart receive block, the message length must be definite and the block waits until the input data length becomes equal to the defined length. if one or more bytes may loss in communication or the message length may be variable, so the block is not useful. is there any solution for these toolbox?

HiI develop my own bootloader for STM32L152VC. The bootloader works, but I found something wierd.When the device is turned on and there is no need to write the flash the program jumps to the application and everythings works properly.When I write the flash and the program jumps to the application the entire EEPROM is erased. As I noticed it clearly depends on the HAL_FLASH_Unock() and HAL_FLASH_Lock() functions. Unlock clears two bits of the FLASH_PECR register, PELOCK and PRGLOCK. The lock function only sets the PRGLOCK. In the reference manual I found this: "To lock the FLASH_PECR and the data EEPROM again, the software only needs to set the PELOCK bit in FLASH_PECR" If I manually set the PELOCK, the EEPROM content will be preserved. Without setting PELOCK the EEPROM content will be cleared during the jump. According the debugger: at the last command of the bootloader the EEPROM is correct, at the first command of the application the EEPROM is blank. The question is why did I lose th

HelloI am currently working on a project were we would like to use the STM32F303 board. We would like to debug it using the external execution mode of Simulink, but I am having problems for generating the code.I have been following the "STM32_MAT-Target_HandsOn.pdf" which is included in the STM32-Mat installation folder. I have been able to generate code for the device and execute it, but that is not the case for the external execution. The code is quite simple, a LED blinking with a period of 1 second. I attach the simulink code and the .ioc configuration file that I am using for the test.When I execute the "Build Model" button with the external operation enabled, I find that two different projects are created for STM32CubeIDE. The first one is created in the same folder were the .ioc is placed, but elements such as the ".cproject" is missing, so I cannot open it with the IDE. The second one is generated inside "project_extMode" folder, which is created during the build. According to 93LC66 communication the 93LC66B variant is a rotated variant. How to establish communication between NUCLEO-G474RE and this EEPROM using SPI ? I've tried many approaches but none worked, always get 0 from EEPROM but it should be FF, I think. Is there need to add delays or change Nucleo clock ? I set prescaler to 256 but still no communication. Hi,I am using the STM32F303CB microcontroller and STM32CubeIDE (1.6.1) to write data in EEPROM - AT24C512 and read respectively.I haven't used HAL libraries, I Wrote I2C_Init - To initialize I2C (Fast Mode 400 KHz), I2C Write and Read Functions.Sometimes I see invalid data when read from EEPROM. Hello, I want to use STM32-MAT/TARGET to generate code for STM32F779NI CAN peripheral in interrupt mode to receive message over CAN bus. CAN IT block is having option only for TX, Rx and ESR interrupt. There is no option on CAN IT block to configure Rx Interrupt for FIFO FULL, FIFO MESSAGE PENDING and FIFO OVERRUN event. I want to call a function only when FIFO is Full.Can anybody help me over this?

Hello ST community!I'm using a stm32F417VGT6 to perform an IAP in Keil IDE.in the bootloader, using the binary file on a SD card, I read executed binary program and write it on flash memory. then i use Jump_To_Application() to start the new app. Everything works just fine and we've got no problems.this process is all OK with 4KB and 25KB binary files. BUT when i try to load Heavier binary files like 112KB or 500KB, the MCU resets and no jumping happens. after this reset we start from begining of bootloader.I've double checked the MCU flash with ST-LINK Utility and my binary file has been written correctly on the correct address.and sadly, there's no way to debug because the MCU is not on the bootloader code anymore. as you may have noticed, this is suspicious. as far as i know jumping to a new program has nothing to do with size of that program. and here's the set of codes i use to perform the jump:             &nbsp

Hello all,I would like to write data to eeprom of stm32f413zh with stm32cube ide. I use HAL library to do this. I am able to write to eeprom correctly. But while erase function is running, microprocessor freezes for a while(one or two second). I 'm using STM32H747I-DISCO, with IAR toolchain. I tried some example in STM32Cube_FW_H7_V1.4.0, CM7 and CM4 are in two different configuration of a project(ex, STM32H747I_DIACOVERY_CM4 and STM32H747I_DIACOVERY_CM7), which can only be activated and run one at a time. The Options->Debugger->Multicore is gray out. Is there a example showing how to setup a project that can debug both cores (set breakpoint) at the same time?

Hi,I was able to generate code for an STM32G474 with Matlab/Simulink 2020b. After an update to Matlab/Simulink 2021a code generation is no more possible. The only STM device I can choose is "ST10/Super10".What can I do or when will a fix be available?Thanks for help!Thorsten
