Hi,I'm interested in the STLQ020 in a very low load current application and am keen to minimise quiescent current consumption.Looking at the data and graphs in the datasheet, I can see that the quiescent current use is maximum 1000nA at no load, and typically ~300-400nA at a low load current (for example 1uA).However, I spotted that in Figure 18 (attached) there is a large step increase in Iq as Vin falls below 2.5V. Is that 2.5V "fixed", or is it the case that this step in current is caused by the regulator running in dropout? Here, where Vin is below the target Vout of 2.5V.In my design, I would like to support a range of input voltages, say 2 to 4V, with a target output voltage of 3.5V, so I expect to often be running in dropout; will this approach cost me extra quiescent current consumption?I'm referring to datasheet revision 4.Thanks very much.Jonathan

Hello.I want to drive a BLDC motor with Steval ptool1v1 hardware.I loaded the example file (6S_Steval_ptool_1v1_HS_WM) into the MCSDK-WB, from which I generated the code (via cubeMX and CubeIDE).The motor doesn’t work despite all my attempts. Even though potentiometer speed control is included in the user manual as plug'n play(!), I see in the cube IDE it is not implemented. Moreover, I did not find an option in the MCSDK Workbench where this could be selected.I tried to figure out in the code how to implement it afterwards, but I couldn't figure out the solution.How could this be solved?Thanks in advance.Bela.

I am using a EVALPWD13F60 and a stm32f103c8 bluepill to drive a small DC brushed motor. When duty cycle is above about 30%, the motor starts to oscillate. I couldn't figure what's wrong with my circuit and code. thanks.

Hi,I'm new and designing a DCDC converter. I'm looking for a 4 channel Isolated gate driver for full bridge. I'm able to find only single or two channel/half bridge Isolated gate driver. I cant find 4 channel / full bridge isolated gate driver in a single IC in your website for me to use. Do you have a full bridge or 4 channel isolated gate driver(like H bridge driver)?Can you suggest a part number from ST please?Regards,Andy

Hello Everybody,i would like to design my first PD Board using the STUSB4700 IC. Since i´m quite new to PD IC´s i thought it would be best practice to just follow the typical use case: "Power supply - buck topology" as seen in the datasheet. While replicating that schematic i ran into some problems.The recommened STL6P3LLH6 is not available on LCSC, so i changed them for HSS06P03 is this okay?Also the schottky-diode STPS5L25B is not available on LCSC and this time i´m not able to find an equivalent diode. can someone recommend me one or is it even possible to leave it out?later on i would like to add more ports. How would that work with reference to the powerregulator. Is it recommended to have one for every port or get a stronger one to handle them all?is it possible to change the type-c port for a regular type-a?also if someone could also have a brief look over my current schematic, to spot any mistakes, that would be really awsome!thank you in advance and kind regards from austriaDa

I'd like to add an LED indicator to the FLT pin so it sinks current when it becomes active low. The LED anaode would be tide high with a resistor in series. The spec sheet says this pin has a resistance of 250Ohms when active. How much current can this pin sink and is approach a suitable way to achieve this?

To be honest the difference is 0x7F03 for the ReadParam() and 0xFF03 for the GetStatus()The documentation L6474Data Sheet (DoclD022529 Rev 4) says Bits 13, 14, and 15 should be 1 all the time. In one case Bit 15 is always 0 and the other case Bit 15 is always 1 In case you think I am doing something wrong:The CS being high is 920 ns or more. It must be > 800 nsAnd the SCK is 4 MHz and has to be less than 5 MHz.

Hi,I am working on a wireless power receiver test board 2,5W STEVAL-ISB68WA to develop an application with wireless charging.STEVAL-ISB68WA does not detect a commercially available 5W Qi compatible transmitter (this one works properly). According to “Getting started with STEVAL-ISB68WA wireless power receiver evaluation kit for wearable applications�? (see picture2), “The transmitter must be configured to have a ping frequency of 120 kHz and a 130 kHz -170 kHz operating frequency range�?.Could you please tell me why the test board does not detect the transmitter?Is this due to the transmitter ping frequency of 159.2 kHz (see picture1)? Hi all,I am using VND5E160AJTR-E for driving a inductive load. The values of inductive and resistive load is 15 mH and 12 ohm. As you know happening back emf pulse while driving a inductor load and I dont use schottky diode for cutting off back emf because back emf pulse provides fast closing on the load and this stiuation is require for my circuit. Also I dont use TVS diode because when I use it, I fail CE102. Actually I wonder that does the back emf voltage damage or not VND5E160AJTR-E IC. Especially current sense circuit in the IC and I saw this value (VCSENSE Current sense maximum voltage VCC-41+VCC) on the table 3 of datasheet. Is there a diode in the IC and this means that the IC cut off back emf voltage between VCC / + VCC - 41 V ? or is this value maximum rate ? In brief If I don't use schottky or TVS diode between output of the IC and ground, do I damage the ICU because of back emf voltage ?

I'm planning to use 24V 0.5A Motor in application. It will be controlled from MCU which is taking 3.3V input and it's GPIO will give 3.3V when output pin is logic high. I'm thinking to interface the Motor to MCU via driver VNL5300S5TR-E.Now I have doubts in this driver VNL5300S5TR-E.This VNL5300S5TR-E IC is running on 3.5V to 5V. so I'm giving Vcc pin to 5V but input pin of this IC will be driven from MCU which will make input pin of IC to 3.3V. so 3.3V voltage is sufficient to turn on the Internal MOSFET ?2.There is a truth table 14 in the datasheet which says that STATUS Pin will get low for condition Output voltage < VOL. What is this condition, can you explain in detail.3.Also what is this Openload detection table 10. in the datasheet. Can you tell more about this.Regards,Bitesh
