We are working with ST25RU3993 eval board and controlling it from linux based STUHFL C code base.

Could you please suggest best config for reading weakest tags with ST25RU3993 using C code base.

    Hello,

Reading "weak" tags depends on different factors. Its not possible to have one configuration setup for all possible application/HW setups. The following list gives an overview of the most important factors that may influence the read performance.

    - Tag population

    - Distance between antenna and tag

    - Location of tag in field

    - Field propagation

    - Used frequency

    - Used Antenna.

    - Tuning state

    - Noise or crosstalk

    - ..

In general to have the best possible reading performance the following settings should be optimized for the given HW setup

    - Before scan run exact tuning and during scan use automatic retuning

    - Mute found tags by using sessions and targets or Select commands.

    - Try optimized antennas for the setup

    - If possible move tags

    - Use different frequencies, that are allowed in the region

    - Try to increase output power and sensitivity

    - Use adaptive Q adjustment for faster anti-collision

    - ..
