Does ST25DV64KC (X-NUCLEO-NFC07A1) Nucleo Expansion board work with Arduno Uno ?

Hi,

Can anybody tell me whether the X-NUCLEO-NFC07A1 works with an Arduno Uno ?

In other words, can I just plug an Arduno Uno onto this unit, or do I need to buy a STM32 development board ?

When plugging it onto a normal Arduno Uno I am unable to read an NFC tag (13.56 Mhz).

Please help.

Hi,

Check that the jumper on the X-NUCLEO-NFC07A1 ST1 connector is in place. This jumper provides the required voltage to the device on the board. See UM2960 Getting started with the X-NUCLEO-NFC07A1 NFC/RFID tag IC expansion board based on ST25DV64KC for STM32 Nucleo §1.2 Board setup.

Also, the IOREF might need to be disconnected if 5V is provided by the arduino board on this pin as CN6.2 (IOREF) and CN6.4 (3V3) are connected together in the X-NUCLEO-NFC07A1. You can just bend th CN6.2 pin on the X-NUCLEO-NFC07A1.
