Hi everyone,

I'm using a MB1054B CR95HF RF transceiver demonstration board. Is ST25DV equivalent to this product? or MB1054B CR95HF Is there any similar product?

    Hi,

you can use the ST25R95 to replace CR95HF IC.

The following post will give you more information on the ST25R95 vs CR95HF : https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W00000Bsjx4SAB/differences-between-st95hf-and-st25r95

Is your issue related to supply of CR95HF IC or to supply of MB1054 demos kits ?

    Hi,

In RFID/NFC, you have basically two types of devices: readers and tags.

The reader is an active device that emits an magnetic field at 13.56MHz and that sends commands over this RF field.

The tag is a passive device that does not emit any magnetic field. It receives the magnetic field from the reader, and use this magnetic field to power itself. It also receives the commands from the reader and answer to them by modulating the magnetic field.

    CR95HF is a reader.

    ST25DV is a tag.

You will find information on ST NFC reader portfolio on https://www.st.com/en/nfc/st25-nfc-readers.html
