Hello,

I'm using an RFID reader (Feig LRM1002) with 2 different version of the M24LRXX chip :

-

M24LR04E

(ANT3-M24LR04E)

-

M24LR16E

(ANT1-M24LR16E and ANT2-M24LR16E)

A problem appear when I scan my tag :

When I send an

''Inventory'' command there are no problems, I can see both versions of the chip.

The problem appear when I send a

''Read or Write Multiple Blocks'' command. With the M24LR16E I have an error message : ''No Transponder In Reader Field'' (it works well with the M24LR04E).

I tried the ''Extended Adress Mode'' but it didn't change anything.

Do you know what the problem could be ?

For information I use the demo software provided by the reader manufacturer (Feig ISOStart).

I took some screenshot :

    Hello,

It is linked that the M24LR16E is a high density memory ans as such is featuring 2-byte address vs. 1 byte address for low density ISO 15693 products. That is a minor firmware upgrade.

In order to further help you, might you send me your email please?

    Thanks a lot,

    Have a nice day,
