NFC readers with I2C or UART interface.

We would prefer to not use SPI to interface to a NFC reader as we are I/O and peripheral constrained here.

I didn't see I2C as an option for any of the ST25R95, ST25R3911B or CR95HF. UART is an option for the CR95HF, but it is not available for it's successor product the ST25R95.

So our interface requirements are steering us towards the CR95HF. Is that my best choice here?

    Hi,

see https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W00000Bsjx4SAB/differences-between-st95hf-and-st25r95 for the differences between  CR95HF, ST95HF and ST25R95. In particular "For new developments, it is recommended to use the ST25R95. CR95HF can still be ordered for existing developments or for developments based on UART communication." The X-CUBE-NFC3 package supports the UART (see https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X0000B7YwL7SQK/how-to-use-uart-interface-instead-of-spi-with-xnucleonfc03a1-and-xcubenfc3-polling-demo).

Note that the ST25R3916B supports the I2C.
