NFC security essentials

We are looking to learn a bit about NFC security, and if the ST25 readers support some of those industry standards.

Does ST have any reference material on this subject? Can you recommend a starting point for learning more, or perhaps advice on finding a consultant in this area?

thanks

    Hi,

finding this request in the basement, having stayed unanswered.

ST25R family is sometimes used in secure systems but then typically only as a pass-through for secured datagrams (APDUs), e.g. in EMVCo POS terminals.

You may find more information if you look at the secure NFC readers, e.g. ST54J (https://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/products/secure-mcus/secure-nfc/st54j.html).

    Regards, Ulysses
