Open Source library & drivers to support MB1054A / CR95HF?

We would like to use the MB1054A ''wand'' from a Linux box, to interrogate a M24LR04E tag embedded in our product, but the available software from ST is based only on Windows.

Does anyone know of Open Source drivers and library code to support this wand?
