Sector secure status management

Hello everyone,

i have a problem to manage sector secure status by I2C.

My step are here described:

- presentation of I2C password, like described in datasheet (needed only at boot)

- write the SSS byte of the desired sector.

As a double check I'm going to read the value of the byte just written, and I find that the value has not changed.

I miss some step?

Hello Alberto,

Are you writing in the system zone?  E2=1 (system memory area)

And what is the sequence sent?

What is the Commercial part of the product you are using? M24LR04E?
