ST25DV04KC fails EN300330 due to 2nd harmonic level exceeded limit

Hi

I am using ST25DV04KC tag in my product. During EN300330 test, there is a very high 2nd harmonic component radiated and exceeds the limit when the NFC reader is placed beside the tag. Anyone encounter this issue before?

For Type-5 tag, is it normal to see a high 2nd harmonic component during communication with the reader?

Thanks.

Rgds

    Hi,

It is difficult to comment because each configuration is different, however I can share some of the observations we did when certifying our boards.

We saw that changing the power supply and/or the usb cable to power the board can impact the results. Also we saw that the reader used for the test, can have an impact. We have used the ST25R3911B-Disco board as a reader and it was working fine.
