ST25R3911B-AQFT different COO with different package outline

Dear Sir,

ST25R3911B-AQFT, we have noticed that the QFN32 package is different for COO=KR and COO=TH parts, referring to photos attached, is this normal?

Is there any updated datasheet or PCN information to reflect such change?

The package of ST25R3911B-AQFT should have chamfers at its 4 corners and we have observed that COO=KR parts have 4 corners while COO=TH parts don't have it.

    Hello Selena,

Yes, a qualification of the package has been done to ensure same performance and no drawback to our customers.

The same PCB landing pattern can be used for both non-wettable flank QFN32 packages. Nevertheless I would recommend to crosscheck with your PCB assembly house.

If you have any concerns, please feel free to consult your ST-sales department.

    Dear Selena,

please have a look at the latest version of the ST25R3911B datasheet: DS11793 - Rev 8.

Chapter 4.3 describes the "VFQFPN32 non-wettable package information" referring to your picture "ST25R3911B-AQFT ---COO=TH.png".

You can get the associated PCN MDG2313925 from your ST sales representative or distributor.

please let me know, if you have further questions.

    Dear Travis,

Thank you for your fast response, following the latest datasheet of the ST25R3911B datasheet: DS11793 - Rev 8.

    https://www.st.com/resource/en/datasheet/st25r3911b.pdf

1, Chapter 4.3 describes the "VFQFPN32 non-wettable package information" referring to picture "ST25R3911B-AQFT ---COO=TH.png". We have checked the chapter of ordering code, it doesn't show the ordering information of "QFN32 non-wettable flank (ST25R3911B-AQFT), referring to COO=TH".  Do they share the same ordering code of QFN32 punched (ST25R3911B-AQFT)--Assembled in ASE Korea? Please help confirm.

2, If they share the same ordering code, can we confirm that the parts of QFN32 punched (ST25R3911B-AQFT)--Assembled in ASE Korea and QFN32 non-wettable flank (ST25R3911B-AQFT)--Assembled in UTAC Thailand that  both offer complete form, fit, and function compatibility and are fully cross-compatible for use on PCB boards?

Appreciate your confirmation and support, thank you!
