ST25R3911B SPI Check

Hi ,

After starting power supply , without any configuration od ST25R3911B, can we directly read the "IC Identity Register 0x3F" just to check the SPI with the controller is working or not ? Will it give the value specified in the datasheet or should I have to do some configurations before reading that?

    Hi,

    yes IC identity register value will appear immediately at startup, no additional oscillator startup or anything needed.

    I just want to check my SPI is working or not, writing to any register may cause some problem so I just want to read any register.
