ST25RU3993 antenna

Hello community,

am writing here because I need support in designing an RFID-based system.

At current stage I have settled on the ST25RU3993 IC as an RFID reader. However, I can't understand if and how an antenna should be connected to the IC.

Can anybody guide me in the right direction?

Hi VnKisa,

Figure 2 of ST25RU3993 DS will give you a basic overview how to connect an antenna. For more information I recommend to inspect the Resources section of ST25RU3993 and the evaluation board ST25RU3993-EVAL which comes with full documenation (Schematic, Gerber, Altium, etc.) in the its Resources section.

This is great advice for me (as you might have understood I'm pretty much of a beginner in RFID technology).

I will go through the Resources section in the ST25RU3993 DS and look at the eval kit.
