ST25RU3993-HPEV PIE encoding pulse width (PW)

Hi :)

I know ST25RU3993 use PIE encoding when it transmits data.

In EPC Gen-2 protocol, PW (pulse width, in attached image) used in PIE has a value:

MAX(0.265Tari, 2 μs)<=PW<=0.525Tari

I want to know what range of PW ST25RU3993-HPEV can use.

Thank you.

    Hi MYoun.4,

    let me refer to the datasheet of ST25RU3993.

    In Table 12 on page 49, explaining the purpose of the TX options register, it is shown that the TARI can be set to 6.25µs, 12.5µs and 25µs.

    The PIE symbol for a logic one can be changed in the same register.

    Using the bits TXOne[1:0] the length of a PIE-"1" can be changed.

    There is no way to change PW directly, but PW will be always half of TARI value.

    Cheers,

    B
