ST25RU3993 reader suite doesn't detect ST25RU3993 Eval Kit while COM Port is being detected and even firmware is being downloaded on the kit

Hi

I have been using the kit for some time now and recently whenever I used this kit the reader suite didn't detect the eval board.

Please tell me what could be the possible reasons.

I have performed these particular tests

1. all the voltages to the ICs are proper
2. 3.3 & 3.6V are also proper
3. ground is proper

After downloading the firmware the LEDs on the board are glowing as they should but the board isn't being detected by the suite.

Hello ADang.1,

please have a look into the windows device manager and check which COM port number the reader is using.

What other devices use COM ports on your machine?

Also check if there is some kind of mechanical damage on the board.

Have you checked with a different USB cable?

Check if there is another instance of the GUI running (maybe in the background).

From which GUI and FW version did you upgrade?
