The ST25PC-NFC software does not detect the STEVAL-25R3916BA reader

As written in the title, the ST25PC-NFC software does not detect the STEVAL-25R3916BA reader, despite being in the list of compatible readers. What can I do?

Hi,

there are 2 USB connectors on the Discovery motherboard:

• J1 User USB (micro USB for connection to the PC GUI)
• J2 STLink USB (mini USB for debug)

See figure 5 in UM3033 - Getting started with the STEVAL-ST25R3916B. Make sure to use the micro USB (User USB).

Then make sure to press the user button (blue button labelled SW1) while powering up or resetting the board to enter  into USB mode.
