How do I differentiate between counterfeited goods and real ones?

Hello there!
I wanted to ask, how do you differentiate between counterfeited product and the real product? I am now using the ST25TV02KC tag (NFC type5 - ISO/IEC 15693) and I wanted to know if there might be someone out there that can clone the UID and manufacturer ID of the tag, so that I then cannot differentiate between the real and the counterfeited product?

The ST25TV02KC tag supports a digital signature feature that may help fulfill your applicative requirements.
