ST25RU3993 : Is the power output is calibrated? What would be the tolerance.?

When I set the tx power as 25 dBm in the application what would be output tolerance.

What would be the output power accuracy?

We understand that tolerance resolution would be the parameter to drive the step size.

Dear Skann.1,

For both readers ST25RU3993-EVAL and ST25RU3993-HPEV the output power level is not calibrated.

A closed-loop output power control can be implemented using the power detector that is present on the boards.

The output power level resulting to 25 dBm is for both readers at Ant1:

  • ETSI: -7
  • FCC: -6

For the tolerances you can expect approx. +/- 1.2 dB

I hope this information is helpful.

Cheers,

B
