Camera and LCD modules for stm32h723 mini core development board

Hi,

I purchased this STM32H723 mini core board that has 20 pin fpc connector for camera module and 10 pin fpc connector for LCD module.

I contacted the seller on Aliexpress and they told me this board works with OV2640/OV5640 modules, but they eventually told me that they don't have the items available.

I purchased OV2640, but it turned out to have 24 pin cable.

 

 

 

 

I have 3 questions:

1. Is there an adapter solution for this ?
2. What camera module will fit this board, please provide Aliexpress product link if possible.
3. What LCD module I can connect to this board ?

Hello,

You need to contact the board's manufacturer as the connectors' pinouts are fixed. Meanwhile this is a list of camera modules that can be used in our boards (from AN5020):

According to the schematics, you need an LCD with SPI or I2C interface but again the connectors' pinouts are fixed. 

Again you need to check with board's manufacturer.

Yep, I think I'll eventually develop my custom SPI/I2C interface to connect LCD with FFC cable.

Hi .. I got it from the seller.

That's the best they could help me with. I'm trying to develop a way to run the camera using adapter board for 20 pins then I hope to find a library for the camera using SPI if things worked as expected.
