Can I use the STLINK-V3 as a target SWIM debug interface in the ST visual develop tool?

I am designing a firmware for STM8 MCU using the ST visual develop tool.

I know that the ST-LINK/V2 worked with the ST visual develop.

However, if I can use the STLINK-V3 instead of the ST-LINK/V2, I would like to get it for better performance and for additional useful interfaces.
