CIRCUIT DESIGN OF STM32F407VGT6 DISCOVERY BOARD

Hi,

I am working on stm32f407vgt6 discovery board and now i am looking on the circuit diagram of stm32f407vgt6 MCU , my doubt is how capacitor and inductor and resistor values are chosen and designed for that board , for example, i am working on power circuitry..in that case VDD all pins are commonly connected to one inductor L1 and capacitors of 100nf and 1micro farad and some resistor values are not mentioned and i am not getting to understand that how those values are taken and designed...i am currently looking in stm32f4 disc manual of UM1472

The design of this board should be aligned with recommendations described in AN4488 (Getting started with STM32F4xxxx MCU hardware development).
