Daignose Nucleo-h563zi and how to repair it

I was using Nucleo-h563zi board in which my application was to run it using external power source so for that i shifted the jumper to E5V to power the board usign external 5V. I was using AMS1117 voltage regulator to convert it to 5V from 12V but accidentaly due to failure or it 12V was given to E5V pin after the LD4 and LD6 led is red and the LD5 is not turning on as usual when the jumper is shifted to STLK for programming.
After this when i try to program by changing the jumper to STLK it is detected but while uploading it is showing "No stlink device found"

i found that the 5V,3.3V is shot circuited. what is the possible reason and how to repair it.

Can you please suggest some way to repair it.

    If you have the skills to remove/replace the smd parts, probably the ST1L05CPU33R, the h563zi, etc ,

    you could try to repair it. At first you have to find out, "who" is still alive and who you killed .

    If not...buy a new  Nucleo-h563zi and be a little more careful when dealing with voltages of more than 3v3 at a circuit with 3v3 chips.

    Hello @Shubham08;

     

    According to the UM3215, the E5V supports a voltage from 4.75 V to 5.25 V and a maximum current of 1.3 A. I think 12 V is very high. If these conditions aren’t respected, you risked damaging the board and the STM32MCU "The impact when STM32 MCUs operate above the absolute maximum ratings".

    For the LEDs color means:

    LD4: Red LED ON when the initialization between the PC and STLINK-V3EC is complete.

    LD5: The green LED (LD5) indicates that the +5 V power supply is available on the STM32H5 Nucleo-144. This source is available on CN8 pin 9 and CN11 pin 18.

    LD6: The tricolor LED (LD6) provides information about the STLINK-V3EC target power.

    A schematic and bill-of-materials can be found under the "CAD Resources" tab on the product page.

    I don't think ST offers repair services, you might try you local electronics or phone repair store.

    You'll have to decide if the cost of the parts or repair technician is worth the investment.
