"Error: Initializing the option bytes failed" when trying to connect with device in dfu mode

Hi all,

I'm using STM32F767 Microcontroller.

For flashing FW to the controller I'm using STM32CubeProgrammer through USB DFU mode.

By making the BOOT pin high, I tried to connect the device with programmer through USB.

Then I observed the error screen pop-up shoeing "error: initializing option bytes failed".

This is not happening in all PCBs. It happened only in some PCBs.

Can anyone help me in knowing why this error message is coming and how to fix this.

I was wondering if you are facing the same issue. Could you try to check your boot configuration using AN4661 section 4 Boot configuration. Also verify your boot pin connection in the following section.
