Hi Team,

I am new to working with STMicroelectronics components and recently started exploring STM32 microcontrollers for my projects. As I am still learning, I want to make sure that I am using genuine and original STMicroelectronics products to ensure quality, compatibility, and proper support.

Could you please confirm whether the components you supply (such as STM32 microcontrollers, ST-Link programmers, or development boards) are original and directly sourced from STMicroelectronics or their authorized distributors?

Additionally, if you can guide me on how to verify the authenticity of the products or share any tips or resources for beginners, I would really appreciate it.

Thank you for your support!

Best regards,
Vishwjeet Singh

Of course, if you source direct from ST or Authorised Distributors you will get genuine product.

    Authorised Distributors are listed here:

If you buy from other sources - particularly amazon, ebay, Aliexpress, and the like - you would have to do your own due diligence.

In particular, blue, black and other-coloured "Pill" boards are unlikely to be genuine.

Any so-called "ST-Link" looking like this is fake:
