I'm working with a Nucleo F411RE.

I've setted JP5 to E5V than I have power up the board from VIN pin.

My Chip and application works well, but the STLINK board still working without USB. I can see the Red Led (LD1) flashing.

If I measure power consumption on IDD connector I read 13mA, but If I read power consumption direcly from E5V I read 70mA.

Is possible to turn off the STLINK without cut it off from the board?

Really thank you.

    Remove D3, SB12, R23 and SB13/14

D3 removes E5V from the ST Link.

SB12 remove the unpowered STlink from pulling NRST low.

R23 removes the connection from the target 3.3 Volt to the STlink ADC.

SB13/14 are other connections from the target to none 5 Volt tolerant pins.

I hope I didn not forget any other  target <-> Stlink connection regarding none 5 Volt tolerant pins.

SB13/14 can remain, if the target keeps these line low.
